DARPA Robotics Challenge (DRC) Finals JUNE 5-6, 2015 8:00AM-5:00PM

The DRC is a competition of robot systems and software teams vying to develop robots capable of assisting humans in responding to natural and man-made disasters. Participating teams, representing some of the most advanced robotics research and development organizations in the world, are collaborating and innovating on a very short timeline to develop the hardware, software, sensors, and human-machine control interfaces that will enable their robots to complete a series of challenge tasks selected by DARPA for their relevance to disaster response. 


The DRC Finals will take place June 5-6, 2015, at Fairplex in Pomona, Calif. The event is open to the public, and free to attend. Children, families and students are welcome. 

In addition to the robot testing, there will be an exposition area featuring approximately 70 interactive displays where students and future scientists can meet technology developers and emergency responders, and try their hand at controlling robots and other gadgets.

Nembo ya Shirika la Kimisionari la Bikira Maria Mama wa Yatima. Niliikuta nembo hii nilipoingia nyumba ya Masista wa Shirika hili kwenda kumwona Sista Restuta. Hapa nilipelekwa na Pius baada ya kupata ruhusa ya Mlinzi. Sista Restuta (Mama wa watoto hao) akiwaandaa wanae kuimba nyimbo kituoni hapo.   Chakula kilichoandaliwa na familia yangu kwa ajili ya watoto hao   Sehemu ya kukaa wageni na watoto wa kituo cha Furaha Mbweni Kijijini.   Watoto wakichukua chakula. Sister Restuta na utawala wa kituo umeweka utaratibu mzuri sana wakati wa kula. Wanaanza watoto wa Chekechea (Nursery School), wakifuatia wa Shule ya Msingi kuanzia darasa la Kwanza kuendelea mpaka Kidato cha Sita. Kituo hiki kunachukua watoto wa kuanzia miaka mitatu ambao wanasoma Chekechea  Watoto wakiendelea kuchukua chakula   Huyu mtoto wa kushoto mwenye fulana nyeupe anaitwa Pius. Alinipokea siku moja kabla nilipokwenda kupeleka vyakula vyao na kufanya maandalizi ya siku hii rasmi. A

Rest In Peace Son of Africa, Meles Zenawi.

  Meles Zenawi picture during the struggle to liberate Ethiopia. He was born as  Legesse Zenawi Asres. Until his close friend in liberation war "Meles" died, he decided to change his name and wear his friends' name and character to liberate Ethiopia.
