Paka wa ajabu kazaliwa Australia

A vet in Australia thought he was seeing double when a cat in labour gave birth to a
two-headed kitten.

The one-in-a-million grey and white mog can only use one of its two faces to eat
because of a cleft palate.

But remarkably both of its mouths can miaow at the same time.

The tiny kitten was born at the Swan Veterinary Clinic in Perth, Western Australia.

Its mother had endured complications during the birth.

But veterinarian George Huber and his nurse, Louisa Burgess, successfully delivered
the remarkable cat in a litter of three.

The other two cats were born without deformities.

It follows the birth of a four-eared kitten in Illinois in August.

The feline's freaky feature is the result of a congenital deformity.

Ms Burgess said she was used to kittens being born with double joints, but never two
faces.

"I have seen cats with two tails and extra legs, but not this," she told the website
inmycommunity.com.au.

Despite its irregular birth, Ms Burgess reported that cat and its mother were doing
well.
